6-Day Marangu Route – Mount Kilimanjaro Trekking

Overview

The 6-Day Marangu Route is a classic way to climb Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m) while enjoying comfortable hut accommodation along the way. Unlike the 5-day option, this 6-day itinerary includes an important acclimatization day at Horombo Hut, significantly improving summit success rates.

Often referred to as the “Coca-Cola Route,” Marangu is the only Kilimanjaro route offering dormitory-style huts with beds and solar lighting.
